coffee is amazing.

i love coffee. i got my husband into coffee many years ago when we were both in high school. by introducing him to sweet cuban coffee and sweet starbucks drinks, he grew fond of it.

our journey started at my roots of coffee drinking, and we have explored many avenues of the drink since then. we've tried cold brewed, drip, kuerig, espresso in a mocha pot, espresso in an espresso machine that cost us an arm and a leg respectively. just about everything but percolate coffee (maybe some day).

now, we both enjoy the past time of coffee together. it's kinda nice. we talk about it, we drink it together if the day is right, we go out and drink it together when we have a moment to ourselves without the kids.

we get excited about buying new coffee mugs or cups or sets together. domestic life is not boring. i don't know why anyone ever says that! when you genuinely love the person you live with, everything new is a fun and exciting venture because you get to try it with them.

in conclusion, this post is made in appreciation of coffee. it's what gets me up in the morning, i am not a morning person. i'm barely a midday person to be honest.
